🔴 December 1 – World AIDS Awareness Day http://dn.nursing.tma.uz/article/2997 http://dn.nursing.tma.uz/article/2997#respond Mon, 01 Dec 2025 04:57:47 +0000 http://dn.nursing.tma.uz/?p=2997 📊 According to the World Health Organization, there are currently about 40 million people living with HIV infection worldwide. Every year, the number of patients increases by almost 1.5 million. Most regrettably, the disease claims the lives of over 600,000 people annually.

📌 Certainly, these figures clearly confirm that HIV poses a serious threat to human life.

📆 To combat this global problem collectively, December 1 is observed worldwide as World AIDS Day each year.

🔎 Uzbekistan has made significant progress in this area in recent years. This progress is of great importance in achieving the globally recognized “95-95-95” strategic goals of the UN Joint Programme on HIV and AIDS.

📈 For instance, currently in our country, 87% of people living with HIV are aware of their status, and the coverage of patients with antiretroviral treatments has reached 89%.

📲 As a result of digitalization in the field, accuracy has been achieved in assigning benefits to HIV-infected children under 18, HIV testing of pregnant women, couples intending to marry, and various population groups, medical monitoring of patients, foreign travel, donation, and birth data, thus eliminating unnecessary complications.

📍 Patients, regardless of their location in the republic, now have access to unlimited medical services and treatments. Measures are being taken to prevent interruptions in medication intake.

🔎 To prevent HIV transmission to children born to mothers living with this infection, the coverage of HIV testing for pregnant women has been increased to 100%.

💊 HIV-positive expectant mothers and their newborns are provided with antiretroviral medications, and infants are supplied with dry milk formulas until they reach six months of age.
💻 As a result of digitizing district laboratory activities, all HIV screening results are now reflected in the electronic system.

🔬 This year, relevant examinations were conducted among more than 5 million people to ensure that 95 percent of individuals infected with HIV know their status.

!! Undoubtedly, all of these efforts are crucial for preventing this dangerous disease in the future, identifying it at an early stage, and providing effective treatment.

To convey to young people the history of the concept of “flag,” its necessity for every state, and its value for citizens.
Explain to students the significance of the Uzbekistan flag as a state symbol.

“Flag” means a fabric made in a certain color and marked with special symbolic signs. All countries in the world have national flags.

The Republic of Uzbekistan also has its own flag. It is one of the symbols of our state and was approved at the session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 18, 1991. Since then, this date has been celebrated in our country as “Flag Day.” We have a good understanding of the Uzbekistan flag since our school days. We hear and read about its colors and meanings every year on television and radio, and on the internet.  In today’s lesson, he spoke about the history and significance of our country’s flag, the need to value and cherish it.

As is known, our beloved Homeland, Uzbekistan, gained independence in 1991. Our people have gained the right to restore and strengthen their national statehood, to independently choose their path of development, to have state symbols, and to join international organizations. In the same year, all state symbols, such as the coat of arms, anthem, and flag, were approved and put into practice. In particular, the state flag was approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated November 18, 1991, No. 407-XII. Since then, it has been one of the most precious and cherished state symbols for all of us.

The State Flag, like the emblem and anthem of our country, is a state symbol and one of the main symbols of our sovereignty. The flag of Uzbekistan is considered one of the most valuable and respected symbols of our national statehood for our people.

The State Flag, like the emblem and anthem of our country, is a state symbol and one of the main symbols of our sovereignty. The flag of Uzbekistan is considered one of the most valuable and respected symbols of our national statehood for our people.

You are victorious on the world stage or on a high platform! Thanks to your success, the anthem of Uzbekistan is playing, and the baysag of Uzbekistan is rising above your head. Above the symbols of all countries, our beloved flag waves.

The flag in Amala was adopted on 18 November 1991. The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is depicted on rectangular cloth, divided into three main horizontal colored stripes (bright blue, white, bright green). These segments are separated by two horizontal lines of red color. The blue color on the flag symbolizes the azure sky and clear water.

The red stripes are a vital force, a symbol of life, pulsing in the blood of every living soul.

Bright color is a symbol of nature. The crescent is a symbol of Islam.

It also reflects the clear sky and peace along with the stars. Stars were considered a spiritual, scientific symbol for everyone. The image of 12 stars on the state flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also directly related to our traditions and ancient chronicles. Our attention to the 12 stars in the scientific thinking of the ancient states on the borders of Uzbekistan means that the symbol of the spread of astrology in the scientific thinking of the ancient states on the borders of modern Uzbekistan is historically connected with the states that existed in ancient times and embodies the scientific and cultural traditions of the republic.
